　　五年级的教材难度较大，要求也上了几个台阶。细心的家长可能就会发现，五年级的课本和四年级的课本相比，无论是从词汇量，语法还是课文篇幅的长短都有了明显的区别，四年级的内容相当简单，它简直就是三年级知识的巩固，稍微有所延伸，而五年级一下子就接触并需要掌握两种时态。所以，有些同学很不能适应，四年级学得轻松，还考好成绩，怎么到了五年级就不行了，这样的现象很普遍，说到底，还是好的习惯没有养成，不够勤奋。希望家长能够配合老师，把孩子的成绩抓上去。社会形势决定了英语学科的重要性，请各位家长务必重视英语这一学科，你们思想上重视了，无形中也给孩子以熏陶，重视与不重视肯定是完全不同的。我坚信：如果您的孩子在您的支持和老师的指导下能够及时完成老师布置的任务，那么一定能学好。要教导您的孩子一要有吃苦耐劳的精神。坚持严谨的学习作风，成绩马上就会见效。

　　在英语课堂上，大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题，积极跟着老师拼读单词，朗读课文。其实这也制造了一种假象，学生认为自己常常被老师提问，认为自己能够回答老师的问题，于是认为自己的英语学得很不错，自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就少了。其实要学好英语，课上占40%，其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固，加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授

　　新知识，当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。

　　那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢?英语毕竟不是我们自己的语言，大多数学生除了英语课其余时间根本就不会想到要说英语，所以，在课后一定要主动抽时间为自己补习英语。学好英语，不外乎就是在听，说，读，写这些方面下功夫。

　　首先说一下听，每个学生都有和书相配套的磁带，可是请各位家长检查一下自己的子女的英语磁带，有多少学生的磁带还是和刚发的时候一样的，根本就没有听过。不要说另外买什么英语听力磁带或者英语学习的碟片了，连自己手头的磁带都不去听，光靠上课听一点点的磁带，学生的听力根本就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说，而说白了，学了英语就是要说，那不是白学了么?听录音机跟读，目的应该是两种，一种同学是上课没有完全消化，听录音是补充学习的过程，另外一种是提高自己的听力和口语表达能力，要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音，从而使自己的听力和口语都提高一个层次。我确信：英语要学好和智商无关，学不好英语的人都是懒惰的人

　　接下来是说，英语是一门语言，学了就是要说，要和别人交流。我们学的英语不应该是哑巴英语，要让每个学生学会勇敢地说出来。在课上我会用各种方法来刺激学生，激发他们说英语的积极性，大多数学生也确实做得很好。可是班级里人多，对每个人来说，说的机会就少。所以下课也要说;放学回家也要说。在学校，我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去，这样有更真实的情景，更能让学生有发挥的余地。在家里，希望家长也能鼓励学生说英语，也许你会说你自己也听不懂，请不要这样想，其实学生需要是你的鼓励，你听了他们说的只要简单表扬一句，他们就会很满足了。有时候你们也可以不懂装懂，或者还可以让学生反过来教你，他们会觉得很自豪，因为自己所学得派上了用场。

　　从学生的家庭作业来看，我们的家长都非常重视孩子们的英语研究。大家都意识到英语研究不论是对我们的日常生活还是升学来说，都产生着重要的作用，有着重大的意义。而我们初中阶段的教学目的在于培养学生的研究兴趣、良好的语言惯、运用英语进行交际的能力以及跨文化意识。因此，我的课堂也是围绕听、说、读、写几个方面对所学知识进行操练和运用。通过这两个月的教学，我发现这一届八年级的班主任都特别负责，班风、学风也很好，最重要的是绝大多数的同学自尊心强，上进心强，这使我对他们充满信心。但同样也发现了以下问题：

　　1、研究态度不够端正。部分学生对于学英语是抱着无所谓的态度，甚至会说“只要语文数学好就行了”，还有拖欠作业的.情况。

　　2、研究惯不够好。我要求学生在学英语的时候要大声的读单词和句子，有利于对单词的记忆，并且能更好的集中注意力。但是有很多人没有这种惯，声音很小，眼睛盯着天花板，盯着窗户读的都有，甚至还有的同学边发呆边跟着读，这样就没有效果。还存在着严重的畏难情绪，我给的问题或是阅读材料还刚出来就有人抱怨“我不会做”、“这么难”、“看不懂”，我会反问他们“你还没看题怎么知道不会做?遇到困难首先想到的不是解决问题而是逃避，那么你永远不会进步”。这几天这种情况已经减少了很多。

　　3、少数同学基础不好。到现在26个字母还读不全、默不全。这也是颇让人头疼的问题。

　　4、阅读本领欠佳。阅读在今后的升学考试，包括中考、高考、研究生考试以及大学英语四、六级考试中都占据很大的分值。但我们的学生对于阅读暂时还没有概念。我要求他们把阅读材料读三遍，第一遍泛读，也就是欣赏;第二遍精读，把生词划出来，根据上下文理解单词的意思;第三遍回答题目，可是很少有同学可以严厉按照要求完成，往往是读了一遍就不想读了。

　　针对以上问题，我也研究了一些方法和策略，需要各位家长的配合和支持。

　　1、督促学生在家听英语磁带，每周不少于1小时，最好能每天坚持听10——15分钟，这将对孩子的研究有很大帮助。

　　2.督促学生在家背英语单词、短语及课文，因为在校学生的背书时间太少，所以家长要配合老师在家里听写孩子的单词和短语。

　　3、争取消化当天所学的单词，不要积压任务。我会在每单元结束的时候组织一次听写，并要肄业生带回家给家长过目。

　　教育孩子需要言传身教。请家长也要注意自己的言行举止。

　　2、注意教育的细节

　　3、给孩子适当的压力，切记要“循序渐进”。也就是要一步一步的来。我觉得从我们的家长角度来说，家长要定位你的期望,不要对孩子期望过高，应该考虑孩子目前的年龄能够达到什么水平。作为家长主要

　　的.工作应该是给孩子一些鼓励和提醒。有时侯这些孩子欲言又止，是害怕做错和说错，而实际上鼓励的确能给孩子提供自信，这才是家长和老师们都应该做好的事。

　　4、重视孩子的习惯。一些家长最担心的是孩子的成绩是否优秀，对习惯不够重视，对此，市教科院专家也指出了，培养孩子良好的习惯，是适应小学学习生活的“第一步，至关重要”。尽量避免一边作业，一边吃东西或玩耍，久而久之养成孩子思想不能集中的习惯。会在很大程度上影响近期学习和将来的发展。好习惯，将受益一生，而习惯的培养，则要从小做起。

　　5、作业方面请家长积极配合做到：

　　（2）检查学生是否及时按量完成作业，昨天作业的错误有无改正，并签名。

　　（3）检查作业是否认真：字迹端正吗？格式正确吗？注意力集中吗？有没有经常“左手拿点心右手拿铅笔”的情况？另外，作业错了地方有没有擦干净，教孩子正确使用橡皮擦，一手把本子按住，一只手来回轻轻擦，避免将本子擦破，而且必须将痕迹擦干净！所以，家长一定要帮孩子选好用的橡皮擦，请不要太花，会影响孩子的注意力。

　　（5）每天督促他完成听算练习，巩固“十以内的加减法”“20以内的进位加法”。要求做到脱口而出。

　　6、对于孩子的物质准备方面给家长下面的建议：

　　(1)学习用品的准备。刚入学的孩子，由于受年龄特点的影响，注意力较容易分散。因此，家长在给孩子准备笔、尺、书包、橡皮等学习

　　用品时，一定要考虑到可能产生影响孩子学习的不利因素。例如，孩子用活动铅笔，笔芯非常细容易断，孩子才开始学习写字，力量各方面都不能很好控制，笔心很容易折断，笔心一断，他就会停下来慢慢按笔芯，所以请家长为孩子准备削好的5支铅笔，不让孩子带刨笔刀到学校，避免不安全隐患。另外，文具盒尽量选择简单的，只要能装上5支铅笔，一个橡皮就够了，一个功能繁多的文具盒，对孩子来说，不亚于一样玩具，很容易分散学生上课的注意力。并训练孩子自己整理书包的能力，但家长要提醒他，带上所有的书和文具盒、笔等。另外，请家长给孩子的铅笔做上记号，当然我相信家长都不在乎那么几毛钱，但是这样做的目的是让孩子学会保管好自己的物品，同时也能避免一些不必要的麻烦。

　　（2）给孩子包书，用软的包书皮，不用夹子形式的，上课，孩子会将夹子取下来玩，影响到上课的质量。可选用里面有个夹层的，学生写完作业后，将本子夹在书里，既可以保持本子整洁不卷曲，又容易拿取。

　　（3）为孩子准备一个学具盒。里面包括小棒、圆片等。
